Good morning, or as we say here in Prague Dobrý Den! I’m not sure if all of you were aware, but I am on my very first international adventure! I suppose you wouldn’t know, seeing as the “perfectly packed” post I planned to blog majorly failed! (seriously, if any of you have mastered packing under 50 pounds for a month, help a sista out) On a more positive note, I’d like to give some insight on what I DID successfully learn during my trip across the pond!
- Speed though Security : Ok girlies, here’s the deal: I know we all are attached to our accessories & while the possibilities of meeting a celeb in an airport is far greater than your average scenario, it’s time to ay bye bye to your jewels and hello to a hoodie. Having jewelry only increases the amount of items you have to take off while going through the security line, & before you reach for your new stilettos, better think again. Wearing heels to an airport is like wearing them to hike Everest… bit of an exaggeration , I know, but it’s seriously essential to wear socks!!!! Who wants to step all over the sticky airport floor anyway? Gross. Lace it up, trust me on this!
- Movie Madness: The soul thing that saved my life on the plane across the pond was the pretty extensive list of movies AirFrance had to offer! We watched 4! Make sure you have a good pair of headphones & a neck pillow & you’re all set to go!
- Sweet Dreams: My honest advice would be to sleep if you can! Jetlag can be a horrible, horrible thing but taking short naps can minimize the zombie effect.
Here’s a list of travel essentials you’ll need to survive your very own adventure:
